Alchemy lets crafters transform herbs and reagents into potions and elixirs using a Mortar and Pestle for smaller combines and a Cauldron for larger brews.
Alchemist Vizyl trains the skill in the Blackfeather Bazaar in Night Harbor. A nearby alchemist sells the flasks and vials you’ll need, and will buy back any excess cauldrons or ingredients you no longer want.
Most Herbalism drops grind down into a matching Powder at the Mortar and Pestle — nearly all at trivial 1, so this step barely counts toward leveling. The real progression happens at the Cauldron, where potions scale through Basic, Minor, Lesser, and unnamed high-tier brews, each calling for higher-tier Powders and vials.
Don’t expect much skill-up from grinding Powders — head straight to the Cauldron once you have ingredients stocked. Minor Serums (trivial 30-40) are a solid mid-game skill-up target since their ingredients are just a couple of Powders and a vial.
