Miner Falmud trains the skill at the Sojourner’s Camp in Night Harbor, where a nearby miner sells the required Mining Pick and an optional Mining Pouch, and buys back excess ore, stone, and gems. Buy your pick, then right-click a node to start. Copper Veins cluster around Night Harbor’s West and North Gates, with Shaded Dunes and Evershade Weald also worth checking; tougher nodes like Limestone Deposits show up later in Fallen Pass, Sungreet Strand, and Scarwood.
