Smelting refines raw ore into the metal bars used throughout Blacksmithing, Enchanting, and other crafts.
Smelter Jadid trains the skill in the Night Market in Night Harbor, where a nearby smelter sells the required molds. Head to a Forge — found in the Night Market and scattered around the city — left-click it to open the crafting window, drop in your supplies, and press Combine.
Every bar recipe uses either raw ore or 6x Scraps of that metal, plus an Ingot Mold that gates the tier: Crude Ingot Molds smelt Copper and Tin, Sturdy Ingot Molds step up to Bronze and Silver, Hardened Ingot Molds handle Iron and Gold, Tempered Ingot Molds produce Steel and Platinum, and Masterwork Ingot Molds cover the rare top-end metals — Mithril, Cobalt, and Adamantium.
Bronze Bar has a Scraps-only recipe (6x Copper Scraps, no Tin required) that’s an efficient way to burn through cheap materials for skill-ups. Buy Ore or Scraps in bulk from miners rather than farming it yourself — Smelting has no gathering loop of its own.
Mining — supplies the Ore that Smelting refines into bars.
Blacksmithing — the main consumer of Smelting’s bars.
Jewelcrafting and Enchanting — also draw on bars for settings, mountings, and components.
