Fighter Starter Quest (Faelindral)

Part 1 — Level 1

1. You start with a Rolled Leafscroll directing you to Captain Vaelric Ironbark at the Sentinels Gaze garrison in Faelindral.
2. Hand the scroll to Captain Vaelric Ironbark (this improves your standing with the Wyrdguard and worsens it with the Fellstone Orcs). Before inducting you, he wants proof you can arm yourself, and sends you to Craftguard Vinebrow at the garrison forge with a Scrawled Leafscroll.
3. Hand the note to Craftguard Vinebrow. He hands you a Sharpening Kit and a Wasp Wax Bar, and points you to the nearby weapon racks.
4. Search the racks to obtain a Patinated Elven Blade.
5. Combine the Patinated Elven Blade and Wasp Wax Bar inside the Sharpening Kit to produce a Tarnished Elven Blade.
6. Show the blade to Craftguard Vinebrow, who inspects your work and hands it back.
7. Show the same blade to Captain Vaelric Ironbark. Satisfied, he hands you a Pouch for Skulls and sends you to the forest floor to clear out undead, filling the pouch with shattered skulls.
8. Kill rotting skeletons roaming the zone (avoid the ruins) until you've collected 4 Shattered Skulls, or buy them, then combine them into the pouch.
9. Return the filled pouch to Captain Vaelric Ironbark. He inducts you as a novice of the Wyrdguard with the Novice Chain of the Wyrdguard and tells you to report to Commander Elydris Stormbough once you have more field experience.

Part 2 — Level 4

10. At level 4, show your Novice Chain to Commander Elydris Stormbough. She introduces herself properly and asks you to help push back the rising undead and orc presence in the Weald, handing you a note for Craftguard Vinebrow to upgrade your blade.
11. Give the note to Craftguard Vinebrow. He agrees to improve your weapon but needs supplies first: 4 Copper Bars and 2 Cloth Scraps.
12. Combine the copper bars and cloth scraps in a satchel and return it along with your Tarnished Elven Blade to Craftguard Vinebrow. He reforges it into a Bronzed Elven Blade, a copper-alloy upgrade.
13. Bring the Bronzed Elven Blade to Commander Elydris Stormbough. She hands your weapon back along with a satchel and assigns your unit to assault the Fellstone orc encampments along the southeastern cliffs, aiming to draw out their concealed scout leader.
14. Fight through the orc camps, collecting 4 Fellstone Warrior's Belts and defeating the scout leader for their Scout Leader's Head.
15. Combine the four belts into the satchel to form a Full Satchel of Orc Belts, then turn it in to Commander Elydris Stormbough along with the Scout Leader's Head and your Novice Chain of the Wyrdguard.
16. She rewards your work with the Striker's Chain of the Wyrdguard, and suggests showing your battle-tested blade to Vinebrow again down the line.
