Archer Starter Quest (Faelindral)

Part 1 — Level 1

1. You start with a Rolled Leafscroll from Commander Elydris Stormbough directing you to Captain Keyaryn Thornshade at Sentinels Terrace, above Traders Terrace in Faelindral.
2. Hand him the scroll. He gives you a Reconnaissance Satchel and four briefings to deliver to his scouts posted around the zone: Scout Gladebow (temporarily posted to Overlook Terrace, past the druids, due to a spider infestation), Scout Amberward, Scout Faeweald, and Scout Stonebranch (each posted near the base of one of the great lifts).
3. Deliver each briefing and collect their reports in return, then combine all four into the satchel to form a Full Reconnaissance Satchel.
4. Return it to Captain Keyaryn Thornshade. Concerned by growing orc activity in Amberward's report, he rewards you with a Novice Scout Bracer and asks you to help with counter-espionage.
5. Return to Scout Amberward and show him the bracer to prove you're a scout. He hands you a Scout's Satchel and asks you to hunt Fellstone Scouts for their reports.
6. Kill Fellstone Scouts until you collect 6 Unintelligible Writings, then combine them into the satchel to form a Full Scout Satchel, and return it to Scout Amberward.
7. He sends you back to Captain Keyaryn Thornshade with the satchel of writings for translation.

Part 2 — Level 4

8. Captain Keyaryn Thornshade sends you to Researcher Fairgrove at the Heartwood Archives to decipher the orcish writings.
9. Give her the Full Scout Satchel. She circles two symbols she recognizes and hands you a Sheaf of Circled Symbols, asking you to check for a matching mark on a conifer tree near the Wyrdgate.
10. At the tree (past the Archer guild, down the Pixie lift, left past the glowing mushroom ring), use /pull vines to reveal a Handful of Ivy and expose the bark, then /inspect mark to confirm a matching symbol and receive a Sheaf of Confirmed Symbols.
11. Bring the confirmed symbols to Researcher Fairgrove. Alarmed the orcs are researching something near the Wyrdgate itself, she hands you a Research Assistant's Bag and asks for proof the local undead are tied to it: 4 Rune-Etched Bones from old elven skeletons.
12. Combine the bones into the bag to form a Full Research Assistant's Bag and return it to her.
13. She confirms a link between the runes and the orcish reports, and hands you a Hastily Written Note to warn your captain.
14. Bring the note to Captain Keyaryn Thornshade. He rewards you with an Arrowhead Token and sends you to Craftguard Vinebrow in the Sentinels Gaze armory to upgrade your gear.
15. Give the token and your Novice Scout Bracer to Craftguard Vinebrow, who reinforces it into the Weald Scout Bracer.
16. Show the upgraded bracer to Captain Keyaryn Thornshade. He tells you it needs more wear before your next assignment — simply keep using it and check back.

Part 3 — Level 8+ (partially documented)

17. Once your bracer shows enough wear, Captain Keyaryn Thornshade explains the Wyrdguard needs to clear undead from the old Calafrey ruins while the orc threat is handled elsewhere, and sends you to Moon Dances, a Whisperer of the Preservers, for spiritual aid.
18. Moon Dances gives you a mortar and asks you to gather one elemental sample from each of four locations, using /take sample at each: an air sample in the non-functional lift to the upper tiers, a fire sample from a faefly captured at night near the old Calafrey ruins south of town (past a group of 3 orcs you can sneak around), an earth sample inside a mushroom ring in Sporehaven Karst, and a water sample by diving at the base of the waterfall near the newbie lift.
19. Return the filled receptacle to Moon Dances, then bring it to Captain Keyaryn Thornshade. He rewards you with a clicky item, Blessing of the Forest Spirit (grants a chance of holy damage on auto-attack, but only within the Calafrey ruins), and sends you into the ruins for 10 Necrotic Ash and evidence of a mysterious robed figure — recommended with a group, as the mobs there are well above starter level.

The reference wiki notes this final stage is still being documented, so the exact turn-in for the Scout's Longbow of the Wyrdguard isn't fully detailed yet.
