Beastmaster Starter Quest (Faelindral)

Part 1 — Level 1

1. You start with a Request for Aid directing you to Captain Relgen Greenblade at Rangers Rest in Faelindral.
2. Hand him the pamphlet. He recognizes your connection to beast spirits and sends you to Aerin Mossfang at the Quiet Den, who oversees beastmaster training.
3. Give the pamphlet to Aerin Mossfang. She hands you a Treatment Kit and asks you to treat an injured animal of your choosing in the kennels.
4. Approach any wounded animal and offer it the kit to receive a Used Treatment Kit, then return it to Aerin Mossfang.
5. She hands you a Hunt Satchel and a Scroll: Jackal Pet Tier 1 — the animal you chose to treat determines your bonded companion. Learn the scroll, then hunt 6 portions of wolf or bat meat and combine them into the satchel.
6. Return the Full Hunt Satchel to Aerin Mossfang. She cooks it into a stew and hands you a Ritual Spoon.
7. Use /taste stew near the cooking pot to receive a Used Ritual Spoon, then return it to her.
8. She rewards you with the Novice Claws of the Keeper, marking you as a novice beastmaster.

Part 2 — Level 4

9. Show your claws to Aerin Mossfang. She explains that black wolf packs have been afflicted by a strange madness and hands you a Hide Wrapping, asking for 4 Diseased Wolf Pelts from the rabid black wolves.
10. Combine the pelts into the wrapping to form a Bundle of Wrapped Pelts and return it to Aerin Mossfang. Detecting an orcish scent on the hides, she hands you a Bundle of Diseased Pelts to bring to Eraeldor Lowmist, Elder Whisperer of the Preservers on Outreach Terrace.
11. Give the bundle to Eraeldor Lowmist. He cleanses it into a Bundle of Cleansed Pelts (and can cure rabies, if you need it) and, once asked, names the orc responsible: Vorkuul Blighteye.
12. Kill a Fellstone shaman in Evershade Weald to spawn Vorkuul Blighteye and loot his Blighted Orc Head.
13. Bring the cleansed pelts and the head to Aerin Mossfang. She rewards you with a Spirit-Blessed Shawl.

Part 5 — Level 8

14. Aerin Mossfang sets a new trial: hunt down hostile black bears in Keeper's Bight, since bears aren't normally aggressive. Collect 3 Blood-Soaked Bear Claws, and any evidence of what's driving their hostility.
15. Along the way you'll find a Poacher's Arrow — humans are behind the bears' madness. Hand in the three claws, the arrow, and your Novice Claws of the Keeper to Aerin Mossfang.
16. She rewards you with a Set of Bear Claws, a Keeper Claw Pattern, and your claws back, then asks you to craft a new weapon: combine 2 Rough Thread, 2 Cloth Padding, the Set of Bear Claws, a Low-Quality Bear Pelt, and your Novice Claws of the Keeper at a leatherworking station to create a Fashioned Set of Claws.
17. Return the fashioned claws and the pattern to Aerin Mossfang. She infuses them with a spirit of vengeance, rewarding you with the Vengeful Claws of the Keeper.

Part 6 — Reported Around Level 11

18. Aerin Mossfang suspects the bears' attacker was an inexperienced human poacher and hands you a Potion of Ursine Rage to lure them out by posing as prey.
19. In Keeper's Bight, drink the potion to transform into a bear, then follow the left wall past the road to Scarwood to a small, empty camp. Use /smell tent then /smell poacher to track the hidden hunter, then /rub tree against a nearby tree to bait them into attacking.
20. Defeat the fledgling poacher (roughly level 12) who reveals himself, and loot his Fledgling Poacher's Bow.
21. Return the bow and the empty potion to Aerin Mossfang. She rewards you with the Shroud of the Ardent Keeper, recognizing you as a full Keeper.
