Paladin Starter Quest (Night Harbor)

Part 1 — Joining the Hospice (Level 1)

1. You start with a Formal Note asking for charitable paladins at the Wayfarers Hospice, in the Travelers Ward north of the West Gate.
2. Hand the note to Thibald Burlond at the Hospice. He welcomes you and sends you (with the same note) to serve under Master Fulton.
3. Give the note to Trey Fulton. He hands you a Penitent Knight's Coin and asks you to show it to Halrinn Grimsul at the inn across the street.
4. Show the coin to Halrinn Grimsul at the inn near the West Gate. He hands you back the coin and Halrinn's Bag, asking you to clear grain beetles from the cellar and fill the bag with their legs.
5. Behind the bar, head into the basement and kill grain beetles until you loot 6 intact legs (or buy them), then combine them in Halrinn's Bag (unstacked) to form a Bag of Intact Beetle Legs.
6. Hand the bag to Halrinn Grimsul. He gives you Food for Trey Fulton to deliver, and hints that Trey's son has gone missing and it's weighing on him.
7. Deliver the food to Trey Fulton. He thanks you and rewards you with the Simple Penitent Knight's Tunic, then sends you off to explore the city until he has more work.

Part 2 — Finding Troy's Trail

1. Return to Halrinn Grimsul at the Shaded Bloom Inn and ask him about Trey's son. He explains that Troy Fulton, an experienced paladin, went to investigate the source of the undead in the area and has been missing for weeks. Sworn to secrecy, he shares a rumor from drunken archaeologists about a recent, significant skirmish at the Wyrmsbane site.
2. Head to the Tomb of the Last Wyrmsbane to search for clues. You'll need to gather and combine three items: a Tattered Field Pack (a 2-slot container) from Dario Numas, a Torn Cloak (a rare drop from a skeletal archer or skeletal marksman), and an Engraved Coin.
3. For the coin, stand between the two blue-flamed braziers in the Skull Wall room upstairs in the Tomb until you see a message about a glimmer from a crack in the floor, then type /take coin.
4. Combine the Torn Cloak and Engraved Coin inside the Tattered Field Pack to create Troy's Field Pack.
5. Hand Troy's Field Pack to Trey Fulton. He recognizes it as his son's and rewards you with the Penitent Knight's Tunic, completing the quest, while vowing to keep searching for Troy.

Part 3

Miraheze marks this part as undocumented. Our own records on Troy Fulton confirm he's never found alive in-game — only his cloak, coin, and field pack are ever recovered, and he's presumed dead — so there doesn't appear to be a further resolution to this thread at this time.
