Detailed Walkthrough

Ranger only. This follows the Ail’Vorith Starter Quest — it opens up after you receive your Obsidian Shackle.

Rewards: Experience, Legion Recurve, House Vael’xirith faction

Part 1 — Answering the Call

  1. After finishing the Ail’Vorith Starter Quest, find Laren Drin’dar in the Obsidian Academy (with the melee class trainers) in Ail’Vorith’s Foreign Quarter. Hail him and say you will heed the call.
  2. He hands you a letter for Lord Glaeron Kes’tel in the hall of House Vael’xirith.

Part 2 — Goblin Hunting (Level 14+)

  1. Hail Glaeron Kes’tel in House Vael’xirith and ask about goblin-hunting. Goblins ambushed one of the House’s caravans near the city borders and escaped with four gemstones.
  2. Hunt the goblins in their camps until you’ve recovered all four: Pilfered Topaz, Pilfered Ruby, Pilfered Sapphire, and Pilfered Emerald.
  3. Hand all four gems to Glaeron Kes’tel to receive the Legion Recurve and improved standing with House Vael’xirith.
