Blind Midden is a two-level prison and sewer dungeon reached from Ail’Vorith, the Deep Elf starting city. The ground floor is mostly peaceful — only the deep gnome NPCs and the sentient sewage will attack on sight — and holds the Midden’s own economy of marks, menus and grudges. The basement is a different story: come down the stairs from the top floor and nearly everything is kill-on-sight except the floating eyes, while players sneaking in through the back entrance (Ail’Vorith’s secret chef entrance) will find most of it neutral apart from the rats and ghosts.
Expect roughly levels 7–25. The top floor’s named prisoners sit around level 7–12; the basement’s named mobs are mostly around 15, with a few tougher spawns in the high teens and twenties.
Reading This Map
The map above marks this zone’s major camping spots along with the levels recommended for grinding there — but it isn’t the full picture. Plenty of other mobs wander loose between those marked areas, and some zones hold hidden pockets that aren’t shown on the map at all, or aren’t clearly marked.
